Story Info

Plot:

You find yourself living away from your parents with two single guys and a third admirer, think that sounds cliche? Well, you aren't with them for any particularly good reason, and you certainly don't enjoy yourself. As the daughter as a Shinigami, it is your duty to search out tortured souls and send them to the afterlife before they possess weak hearted humans. To aid you, it is customary and somewhat of a family tradition to enlist the help of lower level demons and malevolent spirits who like you can also see the signs of possession. Hence, why your parents don't necessarily mind about the aforementioned housing arrangement - Hell, your own mother originally met your father because he was summoned to guard her!

Take your fathers private train circuit from your house on your family grounds into the city to go on mission sites!

You must make daily choices to ensure which of your guard you bond with to ensure they stay loyal to you; the stronger the bond becomes the harder they will fight for you against rival demons! There will be plenty of clues given.

Mission Clues: In some scenarios, the player will have to search around a room clicking on objects to try and find clues such as hidden bloodied notes or hastily concealed puddles of blood.

Battle Events
Battle Events are special scenes unlocked when you find all of the clues and piece them together - after confronting the possessed person he or she will attack you, and you will have the decision to choose one of your three guardians to defend you. Kage is the most easy option for battles due to serving your family and being the most accustomed to obedience he always comes when summoned. Ogama will fight for you due to his promise but as aforementioned is weak and will fail in every battle - you will have to go back to your last safe point and next choose Kage or Kuroi. Kuroi will randomly turn up to some battles and not to others, he will win every time he is summoned as he is your most powerful guardian - but also your most unpredictable, if he will not fight for you return to your last save point and choose Kage. He is more likely to turn up to defend you if you have given him sweet presents previously and you have a high amount of bonding points.

Bonding points: Points which you need to unlock to proceed on certain events, they can be gained in several ways: for example choosing a character several times consecutively in multiple choices such as who to spend the day with, which one of the three you shout to rescue you in a battle. Another way is also by remembering details you will learn about the characters and replying with positive answers to their interests or by buying them items they will enjoy and giving them as presents. As bonding points increase the characters will become nicer to you until a special event unlocks.

Areas:
School. Mall. Park. Streets. Adventure! These are the areas the main character will enter, the mall can be used to buy items to increase bonding points, find clues, and on occasion you will enter it following a possessed person. The school, park and streets can also be entered in order to find clues and follow a possessed person. You can also buy items such as text and study books so you blend in better at the school. Sometimes a specific member of your guard will have to be chosen to escort you in certain situations and your current bonding level will dictate how they act towards you here.

Kage is a powerful demon trapped in the same adolescent body since the cursed day long ago that he was bound by your great grandfather generations past. He has served them since as a butler and has been handed down through to you. Kage is kept under control at all times with a binding talisam secreted upon his body which binds the majority of his powers - Although he enjoys the luxurious comfort his confinement in a room with Ogama provides and has grown complacent; after babysitting you for years he has grown to become like a big brother figure to you, but he keeps a polite, aloof distance as of late since you became eighteen…what could that mean?

Kuroi is a hungry ghost whom despite being a slacker has such a serious sweet tooth that he can be coerced into doing almost any task for some kind of dessert – from sweets with powdered sugar to icecream and cake. Your father once told you that hungry ghosts are beings reborn of their greed, envy and jealousy - Kuroi lives apart from the three of you and he is often prone to disappearing when his help is most needed. His heart has been broken since the death of his first love - a Shinigami reaper that you are distantly blood related who was the first person to ever give him good food as a yearly offering instead of broken eggshells and trash. What is his true intention for being here, and can you really trust him…?

Ogama despite always being eager to show his worth to you is the weakest member of your reaper guard, the first time you met him you were kind enough to get him out of a sticky situation. A Yuki-Onna, Ogama has minor control over ice but is mainly useless in combat. His mother manipulated two travelers one night with a fake baby made from frost in her arms – its pitiful squeals lured them away from the path through the torrents of snow. At the last moment they were lucky and managed to escape along with her real baby which they later decided to raise as their own. You came across him as he was bullied by the children in the small Inuit-village where he was being raised - sensing that he was different they had tricked him into revealing that he was a spirit by spilling a bucket of rice in front of his path. You found him crouched down on his knees on the ground crying as he painstakingly counted each grain as he had to do, and offered to help him so he could get it done quicker. He can be flirtatious to you, but is his heart as cold as his touch?
